Placement Requirements for Teacups & Tinies...
I'm sorry - not to be nit-picking or discriminating - but I have countless hours invested in the upbringing and well being of our extra small puppies, and I want them to have long, cherished and happy lives in their new homes!
Supersmall puppies are extremely fragile, and have considerable limitations as far as to what they can do. They need monitoring and micro managing during their first few months with you, and devoted care for the remainder of their lives. I want to make sure that the placement works out for both you and the pup.
A pup that is size or personality wise not suitable to your life style and home environment, will be a very expensive waste of money for you that can be time consuming and frustrating. For the pup it can be the difference between good health and longevity or a short, stressed, accident prone existence and an early death due to poor care or indifference, being handed on to someone else who is not aware of the care requirements, or accidental injuries.

Teacup & Tiny Puppies...
- Not an Impulse Buy - compare adding a teacup puppy to your life to adding a human "forever" baby in regards to care needs and equipment and multiply this by 10-13 years.
- You have t-cup/tiny puppy experience or you are willing to learn more about it!
- Adult home preferred, really not suitable as a pet for teenagers.
- Mostly not suitable for homes with young children, and they will not do well as a child's playmate or companion due to their tiny size, irregardless how nice or gentle the kids are!
- Playpen Baby Alert!
- You are at home or work at home most of the time, work part time or it can go to work with you. Teacups and young tinies cannot be left alone for 8-10 hrs every day without someone checking on them!!!
- You agree to feed premium puppy food. Ideally it is being rawfed or at least raw supplemented - this makes the puppies happy and keeps them busy when you are away or busy!
- It
is okay for wee babies to go outside with you, as long as you stay with them,
however they should be trained to use a litterbox or peepads for pottying. Teacup Chihuahua Puppies are too small to go outside unsupervised, most will be able to walk
straight through a chainlink fence without even slowing down and they fit through the smallest gaps in other types of fencing! They are also a
prime candidate for a quick snatch by a cat, bird of prey or larger
dogs/coyotes and positively snake bait too. Definitely inside dogs!!!
- Personal pick-up is strongly preferred, and if you are from outside the state or across the state and distance is an issue, I will consider to drive to meet you part ways [half or up to 100 miles oneway from my end]. Most teacup and tiny puppies do not reach safe shipping size until they are 14-16+ weeks old, and many not then either. Ask me to see if I have an older pup available if you need shipping! I generally do not accept deposits on younger teacups if shipping is required.
