Frequently Asked Questions:
Appointments & Visits
In regards to puppy availability and showing appointments...
My other job, combined with the usual household and business related errands, single parent parenting and home schooling, vet trips + trips to the airport, and meeting or delivering pups, equates to an extremely tight time frame for showing appointments.
Please allow 24-48 hr advance notice to schedule a visit to test play our babies. If possible, I will gladly adjust my schedule to make myself available sooner than that. But occasionally I have standing appointments, that I cannot reschedule or that would take several weeks for me to get back into an appointment slot. When you make an appointment, please be on time. If you are running late or need to reschedule, I'd appreciate a call as soon as you know, so I can go on with the rest of my work day.
Combine this with the fact that we place a lot of pups with out of state owners that are out of reach for visiting [and whose pups get shipped] or that only come when the pup is actually ready to go home - this can also mean that pups that are here today, may be sold or reserved just hours after we talked on the phone or communicated via email.
In the event where we need to wait a few days to match schedules for you to come visit, that could mean that the pup you're interested in, may be no longer available.
I do not promise the availability of a pup without a deposit [a deposit garantees the availability of your chosen pup and I will no longer take inquiries for that pup, but I totally understand if you would like to come out and see the pup in person before making a decision! ].
If you're coming tomorrow to testplay with the babies - and we already set an appointment, I won't accept a deposit from someone else unless I have been communicating with that person for a while [and I will let know about that]. However if our appointment is sometime later in the week or even next week - I will accept deposits and place the pup if the home is right [I've got too many no-shows and missed placements over the years to continue doing otherwise].
I usually do not mention if I have another party interested in a pup as I do not want to create undue pressure on you to buy. But if you are very interested in a pup, and need a bit more time to think or discuss the purchase with your significant other, do feel free to ask if there are other folks interested or considering that pup and I will gladly tell you - we often get multiple inquiries for the same pup, so sometimes they get reserved or sold quite quickly.
Also for that reason - pls confirm availability of a pup and the appointment we have set, before you make the drive or take time off work etc. I usually send courtesy updates to interested parties when I sell a pup they are interested in, but sometimes [especially over the weekend or when quite busy] I may not get around to it right away, or I forget.

Deposit Contract
A deposit holds your chosen pup and makes it yours, and it removes it from our available pups for sale list.
The deposit is non- refundable - subject to the health and well being of the pup. In other words, unless something is wrong with the pup that was not noticeable at the time of the deposit, the pup gets sick or doesn't wean well, or if it does for whatever reason not pass our vet's exam - I expect you to follow through on the sale.
Your deposit is not getting refunded if you found a pup closer to home, had a change of mind, or found out belatedly that your lease won't allow pets, or your husband doesn't want a dog, etc etc. Please be sure that you truly want the pup you are reserving and that you will be able to make any agreed upon installment payments and that you can pick up as scheduled, as I am officially take it off the sales list for you once I receive or confirm the deposit. The remainder of the purchase price is due in cash at time of pick-up.
I will however consider allowing you to switch from one pup to another if something comes up at this time and you are not able to follow through with the initial purchase. The purchase should be completed no later than 6 months after initially placing a deposit if you need to switch. You will lose your deposit if you have not used it towards a replacement pup within that 6 month period!

Payment Methods: Paypal
For a quick and uncomplicated mode of reserving a pup, you may make your deposit via Paypal with a credit card, debit card or existing balance or any combination there off.
Use the Paypal buttons on the pups pages to place your deposit, or ask me for the correct email address to send Paypal payments to.
If you are not familiar with using Paypal, let me know and I can bill you for the correct amount.
Please Note: There is a 3% surcharge for using Paypal, please add that to your payment amount. I do my best in trying to keep my puppy prices reasonable and affordable, even though everything else goes up in price. I am sorry, I simply can no longer afford to "eat" all the convenience fees associated with instant payment methods. If you happen to forget, it's not a biggie - we will just add it to the remainder of your balance, when you pick up your pup!

Payment Methods: USPO Money Orders
Snail mail deposits are accepted in form of US Postal Money Orders only.
These must be mailed Priority Mail, or send UPS or FedEx next day and received no later than 3-4 days from the time I put a hold on the pup. Deposits not yet received are shown under the heading "Sales Pending" - if I do not receive snail mail payments within the agreed time frame, I will make the pup available again if I can't get in touch with you.
Make Money Orders must be made out to me personally - please ask me for correct spelling and my mailing address!
Time + good communications are of the essence when you send $$$ in the mail - also please be sure to send any funds in a traceable and "signature required" way - this way we both can verify the location of shipment if it is running behind schedule and you will know when I sign for it and "officially" have received it.
